Dan Swall Latest Viruses: most of the recent viruses that are discovered in the wild are essentially just run of the mill viruses with minor updates added. It would be a waste of mine and more importantly your time to waste paper, toner and time to type out a massive list of viruses that changes almost HOURLY. There are websites created by the big anti-virus companies (McAfee and Symantec in this case) that deal specifically with new viruses that are discovered. The majority of the viruses that are discovered are usually patched and included in updates that are delivered on THAT DAY. This pretty much neutralizes any viral infections that are found. A way that these websites would be useful other than for ascretaining the latest viruses and if you're protected is to sort them by risk factor, to see if there is anything additional that must be done to protect a system. The URLs to find the updates are no further than a google search away, but here are some for reference anyway: Symantec Website: http://tinyurl.com/2uufez McAfee Website: http://tinyurl.com/yqq2o2
